Great little ice cream maker

This is a very nice little ice cream maker. It only makes about 4 tablespoons of ice cream but kids don't seem to mind that. I bought 2 of them one for my niece and one for another family member. They both loved them. Even my nieces father liked the ice cream maker. I would highly recommend this ice cream maker to anyone who wants an ice cream maker for a kid.

Fun--really works. But adult help is needed for younger kids.

I bought this for my 5 year old granddaughter, who saw it on TV. I was surprised it really works. You need rock salt, which we forgot at first. I like that it's fast--little ones have a short attention span. You can make any flavor. It does need constant and fairly vigorous shaking, and your kids might not be able to do that for the full time needed. It's a cute idea; makes just a single serving, and fun to do.
